WHO WE ARE
From a Visionary Origin to an Enabler of Next-Gen Fiber Cable Infrastructure
It started in 2019, with a visionary concept from Dr. Nguyen Xuan Nguyen, our Founder & Executive Chairman, to establish a real-field testbed and commercialization pathway for next-generation fiber technologies, with early engagement from a leading global research institute and national-level stakeholders in Vietnam.
In 2023, after Vietnam reopened post-COVID, our foundation was laid under SVI Group’s Hi-tech Division. With the resumption of testbed activities, this phase focused on setting up the legal, technical, and operational groundwork needed for long-term execution. During this period, initial engagement with strategic partners also took place, setting the direction for future product development and scalable manufacturing.
In late 2024, VAFC Global was officially spun off from SVI Group and incorporated in Singapore to lead international development. This marked the formation of our execution structure. Shortly after, in early 2025, VAFC Vietnam was established as a wholly-owned subsidiary to enable local execution and cost-effective, scalable manufacturing.
With a solid foundation and a clear vision, VAFC Global is now taking the next steps to deliver next-generation fiber cable infrastructure at scale, built to meet the rising demands of digital transformation, AI, and hyperscale connectivity.

Dr. NGUYEN XUAN NGUYEN
CHAIRMAN & CEO
Dr. Nguyen is a deep-tech entrepreneur with decades of experience in fiber optics, semiconductors, and cross-border ventures. He leads VAFC’s strategic direction and technology access, drawing from a proven track record in IP commercialization and successful exits. He plays a critical role in bridging advanced innovation with scalable execution.

Hieu drives VAFC’s execution strategy, operations, and external partnerships, translating vision into measurable results. With 15+ years in business development and infrastructure execution, he brings a sharp focus on turning strategic technologies into market-ready deployments. He also leads capital coordination and partner engagement across regions.

TECHNICAL DIRECTOR
Tien leads VAFC’s technical execution and deployment design for advanced fiber technologies. With over 15 years of experience in network infrastructure, secure systems, and scalable architecture, he ensures VAFC’s readiness to meet hyperscale and telecom-grade demands. His expertise underpins the company’s engineering credibility.

Financial Advisor
Vu plays a key role in shaping VAFC’s financial roadmap and strategic growth. With 30+ years in U.S.–Vietnam business development and investment structuring, he brings a valuable lens on market access, capital formation, and early-stage growth support across public and private sectors.
Quang Tran
Investment Advisor
Quang advises VAFC on capital strategy, investor alignment, and scaling. With a strong background in private equity, cross-border M&A, and tech entrepreneurship, he has led $100M+ in transactions and co-founded multiple ventures. He bridges financial innovation with execution discipline.
