Under the theme “Fiber Forward: The Future is NOW”, The 19th FiberConnect APAC Conference was held in Manila, brought together government agencies, network operators, and global technology providers to discuss the role of fiber in enabling economic growth, digital transformation, and sustainable development.

Key discussions included innovations in multi-core fibers (MCF), AI-native infrastructure, SDG-driven connectivity, and cybersecurity for critical networks. Sessions also featured perspectives from institutions & global tech leaders like NICT Japan, Sumitomo, YOFC, MyRepublic Indonesia, and Nokia Bell Labs, underscoring the region’s momentum in high-capacity optical technologies.
